Why should I choose Delivery via carrier?

This delivery option is ideal when you place high-volume orders that require professional handling or when you prefer not to carry heavy or bulky items. A driver will deliver your package inside your home and place it in a room of your choice.

Cost consideration: The exact amount is displayed during checkout and depends on your delivery address and order details. The starting price for this service is €39 for IKEA Family members and €59 for non-members.
Timing and scheduling factors: You will receive a delivery window of 4 hours on the chosen date. Make sure that a person over the age of 18 is available during the delivery period, to supervise, receive and inspect the parcel. If no one is at the address and it is not possible to contact, the delivery will be considered failed. In this case, you must contact IKEA Customer Service.
Item size and type restrictions: Suitable for large or heavy items (e.g. sofas, wardrobes or kitchen appliances) that can be difficult to carry on your own.
Location and access conditions: Suitable for houses or apartments with accessible entry points, including buildings with elevators or secure stairs.

Customer effort required: The effort is minimal, as the driver(s) are in charge of transporting the items to a room of their choice – including transporting them to an upper floor that has been indicated, if necessary.
