Worked on cotton but not polyester curtainsAnonymous reviewerFirst time using this product, and first time handling curtains. I bought 2 heavy cotton curtains and 1 heavy polyester curtain from Ikea. The heavy cotton works, but now after a few weeks, I notice it's starting to come off. As for polyester, it didn't work. I ended up using pins instead to hold up the fold. Oh, and the process took me a long time to iron. For all the effort and time I used, I hoped that it would have lasted longer. And I wish the product would have stated that it doesn't work on polyester curtains. I would recommend it for lighter curtains made from cotton only. Otherwise, I'd find a different solution.3

The first iro-on hemming strip that has worked well for me!
I hemmed my long trousers, then I hemmed a small laundry curtain. It's so easy to use and works well & doesn't take a long time to hem the items with a hot iron! Very happy customer!

Makes hemming easy, unless a fabric is heat sensitive, I found putting a cotton cloth over the top doesn't make it melt very well.
