Good base, but the white lampshade is a disaster.Anonymous reviewerNice lamp base. However, the white lampshade is not good. The light that comes out from it, even with 3000k bulbs, is harsh and not at all pleasant in my living room. Temporarily, I've wrapped orange plastic filters around the edge of the lamp bulbs to cut the glare, but I've also ordered replacement beige JARA lampshades. Those should be much nicer.
