Our guarantees and warranties start on the day of purchase. When making a claim you will need the original purchase receipt as proof of purchase.

Bedroom: Mattress

IKEA mattresses and bed bases have been rigorously tested to comply with our strict standards for quality and durability, as well as to meet the highest standards for domestic applications. That means we can offer you a 10-year guarantee that covers mattresses and bed bases against defects in materials and workmanship.

How long is the guarantee valid?
The guarantee for mattresses and bed components other than electrical motors remains in force for ten (10) years from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.

What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee applies to household use only. It covers defects in material and workmanship regarding issues with sewing, damage in springs and foam or bed bases of the mattresses.

The guarantee applies to the original purchaser and cannot used by anyone else.

Products not covered under this guarantee
These products are excluded from the guarantee:

- JESSHEIM, all mattress toppers, sofa bed mattresses and childrens mattresses.

The guarantee for PAX/KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior organisers remains in force for ten (10) years and is valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.

What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee applies to domestic use only for clothes and shoe storage and covers defects in material and workmanship in the following components of the PAX/KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior organisers:

• Frames
• Hinged doors and hinges
• Dividers for frames, shelf inserts and sectioned shelves.
• Sliding doors and sliding door mechanism

Our sofas are rigorously tested to comply with our strict standards for quality and durability as well as with the highest standards for domestic use. This means that we can offer you a 10-year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship that covers frames and cushions of our sofas.

How long is the guarantee valid?
The guarantee for sofas remains in force for 10 or in some cases 25 years. The guarantee is valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.

What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship in frames and seat and back cushions when used with the intended frames.

How long is the guarantee valid?
The guarantee remains in force for ten (10) years and is valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.

What is covered under this guarantee?
The guarantee covers defects in material and workmanship on the following parts of the work chair:

• The structural frame
• Moving parts

Moving parts are components with moving functions or adjustable functions. The guarantee covers the intended function for the components of the castors, gas cylinder, mechanism, armrest and back rest adjustment mechanism.

What is not covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee does not apply to the product if it has been stored or assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products.

This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents.

This guarantee does not apply if the work chair has been placed outdoors or in a humid environment e.g. bathroom.

This guarantee does not cover consequential or incidental damages.
