This soft sofa will have a long life since the seat cushions are filled with high resilience foam that gives good support for your body and quickly regains its original shape when you get up.
The sofa's sections can be combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you and your home.
You can create your own perfect combination with the planning tool. Assemble, take apart and put together again until it’s just right.
The chaise longue has storage under the seat. The lid automatically stops in the open position so that you can easily pick out and put back the things that you are storing.
You can place the chaise longue section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.
You can complete with VIMLE headrest to extend the backrest of the sofa, so that you sit even more comfortably with a nice support for your neck.
This cover is made from Saxemara fabric in cotton and polyester. The needlecord corduroy is soft yet durable and has a modern, elegant look.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable.

Great sofa Anonymous reviewerSeveral parts got broken on delivery and had a couple of returns to do which although burdensome, ikea sorted quite quickly and effectively. When we had built the sofa with unbroken parts, it was fantastic and more comfortable than some of the reviews might suggest. Really like the cushions and corduroy material. We find the cushions remain plump and comfy despite heavy use. It is also great as a spare bed, just remove back cushions. Really happy despite the hiccups on route!
Sunken sofaAnonymous reviewerAs others have stated this sofa becomes very uncomfortable with little use. It gives us constant back aches for sitting on it. The chaise is sagging and can't be raised or turned and it has a 5cm gap now between the back and the cushions. The bed is so soft and uncomfortable to sleep on. Usually we are very happy with IKEA quality but I regretted my purchase this time.

Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerIt's comfortable enough and looks good, but very quickly we realised that the cushion quality is poor. They certainly won't last as long as you'd hope an expensive sofa would do. After only 5 months the cushions have already flattened and won't plump back up after our efforts. One arm rest has already broken and it absorbs smells SO much, that it's made the whole room smell, even after it's been cleaned. We've never had such issues with a sofa, let alone after just buying it. Very disappointed. Will unfortunately be replacing it very soon.

Poor cushions qualityAnonymous reviewerI wish I had read the reviews. We have had this sofa for 6 months. Initially this was an extremely nice looking and comfortable sofa. But now the cushions at each end (ie the ones people use) are very sunken in, they have no support whatsoever now. This isn't just for adults, but also they offer little support for a 5 year old. They also look like it is an old sofa because they are all sunken in. I went to store to see if I could buy replacement cushions and apparently this isn't a spare part so cannot. My Karlstad sofa lasted 11 years, can't believe this one has only lasted 6 months.

6 month life?Anonymous reviewerWe loved the colour of this sofa, and when we went into store it felt really comfy and just nice. We like the storage in the chaise. Assembly took longer than we thought for two of us.
Really disappointed as the cushion covers get snagged really easily, I feel like I’m constantly using the lint remover on it. Also, the cushion on the chaise has completely sunken in (after only 6 months?) to the point where it’s uncomfortable. The other seat cushions have started to do the same - very disappointing. We now need to find a new sofa.
DisappointedAnonymous reviewerThis purchase was a huge mistake. Yes this sofa looks nice at first but by 6 months in it's falling apart, already had to replace an arm. The padding has sunken in the Chaise and the technician said it was too thin for the design but still wasn't willing to recommend a replacement.
Technician that was sent out had the cheek to put extreme ware and therefore the guarantee would not replace the sofa. I bought from IKEA because my previous sofa lasted 15 years, all through my daughters toddler years! So now she is 15, only 2 of us using the sofa, how can we wear out a sofa fit for purpose in 6 months?
If you have no children, pets or a large family this sofa may be suitable.
