The footstool has a generous storage space under the seat for you to keep things you need close at hand and still have the area around the sofa neat and tidy.
This cover is made of dope-dyed Gunnared fabric in polyester. It is a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned melange effect.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable.

Plenty of storage though a bit tricky to assembleAnonymous reviewerThis is a great footstool which is large enough to use for additional seating if you need it. Plenty of storage. Inevitably this means it can be heavy to move around (before you've stored anything!). The main assembly problem was fitting the cover to the lid. This entails removing the locator feet on the underside, stretching the cover over, then screwing the feet back in through holes in the cover. One of the feet was cross-threaded and couldn't be removed. We were on the point of giving up when we were just able stretch the cover over. It's not located correctly, and will be difficult to remove to wash, however it looks fine in the room.

I am now wanting the matching storage footstool to complete . Comfy washable and easy to put together to get in! Perfect
Great storage, a little priceyAnonymous reviewerWe opted for a couple of footstools instead of the chaise for flexibility. They were a little pricey but the storage is great. They are a touch taller than the sofa which took a bit of getting used to.
HUGE!Anonymous reviewerNice footstool, but despite seeing it in the showroom when I put it together at home it looked massive. Lived with it for a couple of days, but it was just out of scale to the room and was slightly higher than the Vimle sofa seat so returned it.

Soft enough to be comfortable but solid enough to rest a tray on and use as a coffee table for candles/ drinks.

Covers so difficult to put onAnonymous reviewerI don't know if I got defective covers, but putting them on was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to eassemble in my life. They were so tight that they ripped when I tried to pull them over the stool. It looks nice, but trying to put them back on after washing them is going to be nightmare.
