This soft and cosy sofa will have a long life as the seat cushions are filled with high resilience foam that gives good support for your body and quickly regains its original shape when you get up.
The chaise longue has storage under the seat. The lid automatically stops in the open position so that you can easily pick out and put back the things that you are storing.
You can place the chaise longue section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.
You can complete with VIMLE headrest to extend the backrest of the sofa, so that you sit even more comfortably with a nice support for your neck.

Not a great sofa :-(Anonymous reviewerI would avoid buying this sofa. At first, it was perfect for what we needed, but not long after the cushion on the chais longue started sagging badly where you would sit up. It's now unusable and we're having to replace the sofa.
Initially great, now dreadful!Anonymous reviewerI bought this sofa for our family den in October 2020 - and it was fab, an ideal size for us. Cost wise it seemed to offer value for money, and I was also impressed / reassured with the ten year guarantee.
However whilst all the cushions are washable and you can swap all the back cushions around, and the two on the seats, the huge problem is the chaise longue part.
Where you sit is now sagging so badly it leaves a crater on the couch when you get up! What was the best seat, is now very much the worst! I'm embarrassed to have people sit on it.
It's so uncomfortable and I have a sore back every time I get up from it.
And yet we're only just over halfway through the ten year guarantee on it.
I'd be very keen for Ikea to get in touch to offer a solution..
Padding dipped and arm brokeAnonymous reviewerHad this for a few months then the padding in the cushions dipped, you could hear the springs on the chaise when you sat and and pushed on them and the arm crunched inwards when it was leant on to stand up.

Now only after 2 short years, the seats have sunk, there are dips, I am embarrassed to even invite guests over because I do not want them to sit on an uncomfortable sofa. One part of my sofa is lower than the other. My opinion - do not waste your money.
Disappointing. Poor quality Anonymous reviewerI rarely leave reviews. And I bought most of my furniture from IKEA. But, in case of this sofa, it’s frustrating as it’s very poor quality compare to price. Extremely uncomfortable to seat seems you are sinking and dipping down, need additional support on your back. The bottom cushions quickly lost their shape and support, leading to poor seating posture and back pain. After a year, it’s now genuinely unpleasant to sit on, and I’m already looking for alternatives while still having to use it daily. I regret not leaving a 1-star review earlier—this level of durability is disappointing for a sofa designed for everyday use.

Sunken sofaAnonymous reviewerAs others have stated this sofa becomes very uncomfortable with little use. It gives us constant back aches for sitting on it. The chaise is sagging and can't be raised or turned and it has a 5cm gap now between the back and the cushions. The bed is so soft and uncomfortable to sleep on. Usually we are very happy with IKEA quality but I regretted my purchase this time.

Perfect for what we neededAnonymous reviewerI can’t believe the bad reviews on this sofa… we love it, we have a three seater with chaise and a two seater. They are really comfy… we have had them for a year now and they still look great. Also a plus having storage and removable covers.
Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerIt's comfortable enough and looks good, but very quickly we realised that the cushion quality is poor. They certainly won't last as long as you'd hope an expensive sofa would do. After only 5 months the cushions have already flattened and won't plump back up after our efforts. One arm rest has already broken and it absorbs smells SO much, that it's made the whole room smell, even after it's been cleaned. We've never had such issues with a sofa, let alone after just buying it. Very disappointed. Will unfortunately be replacing it very soon.

Poor cushions qualityAnonymous reviewerI wish I had read the reviews. We have had this sofa for 6 months. Initially this was an extremely nice looking and comfortable sofa. But now the cushions at each end (ie the ones people use) are very sunken in, they have no support whatsoever now. This isn't just for adults, but also they offer little support for a 5 year old. They also look like it is an old sofa because they are all sunken in. I went to store to see if I could buy replacement cushions and apparently this isn't a spare part so cannot. My Karlstad sofa lasted 11 years, can't believe this one has only lasted 6 months.
Complete letdownAnonymous reviewerBought it in April, by August the back cushions have already disfigured and the seat cushions have all flattened so it's very uncomfortable... This is in a household of two people, both with small builds that don't work from home so it's not like it gets a tonne of heavy usage - was expecting better for a grand...
