Porridge with cinnamon-fried apples

Start your weekend off right! This simple, 10-minute recipe idea transforms your everyday porridge breakfast into a warm, lip-smacking autumnal treat.

Ingredients:

120 g MUNSBIT roasted and lightly salted nuts and berries

4 portions of porridge, preferably oatmeal

2 apples

2 tbsp butter

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tbsp honey

Step by step

  1. Core the apples and cut them into wedges.
  2. Fry the wedges in a pan with butter for 5 minutes. Add cinnamon and honey towards the end.
  3. Pour the porridge onto deep plates and top it with the cinnamon-fried apples and MUNSBIT nut and berry mix.

    Serving
    Serve with your preferred milk and drizzle some maple syrup on top.
