Crispy potato croquette tapas

Ingredients:
Crispy potato croquette tapas
- 600 g ALLEMANSRÄTTEN mashed potatoes
- 200 ml parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 l neutral oil
- 200 ml wheat flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 300 ml panko breadcrumbs
- Jalapeños, sliced
- Mayonnaise or dip sauce
Step by step
- Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the package.
- Mix in parmesan cheese and salt.
- Roll the mashed potatoes into balls. Coat the balls first in flour, then egg, and finally panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat the oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 180C.
- Fry a few croquettes at a time until they are golden brown. Let them drain on a paper towel.
- Serve the croquettes with jalapeño slices and your preferred mayonnaise or dip sauce.
