Cinnamon apples with cookie crumbs

This recipe is the perfect choice when you long for a warm and satisfying dessert. The combination of cinnamon, creamy mascarpone, and sweet crunch is simply irresistible!

Ingredients

Cinnamon apples with cookie crumbs

8 KAFFEREP oat biscuits

60 g MUNSBIT roasted and lightly salted almonds

4 red apples

5 tsp ground cinnamon

5 dl cane sugar

50 g butter

1 vanilla pod

200 g mascarpone cheese

Step by step

  1. Crush the oat biscuit and roughly chop the almonds.
  2. Cut the apples into wedges, remove the core and mix them with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Fry the apple wedges in butter, sugar and cinnamon for 3-5 minutes, depending on how soft you want them to be.
  4. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and mix with the mascarpone cheese.
  5. Spread the mascarpone vanilla cream on plates and top with apples, cookie crumbs and almonds.

 

Tip! For some extra sweetness, drizzle with some maple syrup or honey.
