Cinnamon apples with cookie crumbs
This recipe is the perfect choice when you long for a warm and satisfying dessert. The combination of cinnamon, creamy mascarpone, and sweet crunch is simply irresistible!

Ingredients
Cinnamon apples with cookie crumbs
8 KAFFEREP oat biscuits
60 g MUNSBIT roasted and lightly salted almonds
4 red apples
5 tsp ground cinnamon
5 dl cane sugar
50 g butter
1 vanilla pod
200 g mascarpone cheese
Step by step
- Crush the oat biscuit and roughly chop the almonds.
- Cut the apples into wedges, remove the core and mix them with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Fry the apple wedges in butter, sugar and cinnamon for 3-5 minutes, depending on how soft you want them to be.
- Split the vanilla pod lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and mix with the mascarpone cheese.
- Spread the mascarpone vanilla cream on plates and top with apples, cookie crumbs and almonds.
Tip! For some extra sweetness, drizzle with some maple syrup or honey.
