This mattress protector has an elastic edging all around to help it stay in place and prevent stains. It’s easy to wash and dry - and will have the same perfect fit when you make your bed again.

Product details

A quilted mattress protector with a polyester fabric and a filling mainly from recycled sources.

A mattress protector between your sheet and mattress protects from stains and dirt and prolongs the life of your mattress.

The elastic edging all around makes sure the mattress protector stays in place and also protects the sides of your mattress.

The mattress protector is machine-washable at 140°F (Hot), a temperature that kills dust mites.

    Fits mattresses with a max. height of 13⅜", since the mattress protector has elastic edging.

The plastic lining layer melted in the dryer, covering dryer drum with plastic and rendering the sheet unusable. The store employee said that this was not normal, but refused to exchange for a new one because the purchase occurred 8 months ago. This is not acceptable given that the product was clearly defective. Do not buy this. 1

Material

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
