It is off gassing, it smellsAlisonFor the longest time, I couldn't figure out what the smell was in the living room. Realized it was the curtains! I washed them 3 times and it STILL smelled. It's clearly off-gassing. Returned this immediately. Airing it out did not work in any way. 1

Room Darkening curtains.DeborahLove the colour, weight and fabric, however ver disappointed in the fact that they are not consistent in length. Purchased 2 pkgs=4 panels and every panel needed to be adjusted so that they hung equally to the floor. Out as much as an 1 1/2 from side to side!4

Good quality. Very little darkness. KareemThe curtains are well made and don't wrinkle. I hung them on the VIDGA rods without any issues using hooks.
However take the "darkening" label with a grain of salt. These not even close to blackout. We have these over a window that has horizontal blinds. During the day, even with the horizontal blinds closed and the curtains drawn, the room is still bright enough to see colors clearly.
Not recommended for bed rooms if you want darkness during the day time. These are better as privacy curtains in a living space.4

Very nice quality curtains.ReneeI read a lot of reviews online that IKEA's curtains are not hemmed. Not true. This curtain has a hem/is finished and is overall exactly what I was looking for. Great price for 2 panels at this siize and they darken room, though not complete blackout, which is what I wanted. I love the horizontal detail in the soft fabric and that they are likely to reduce drafts. Backing is white, nice material.5

Great quality!MonicaI had other curtains with grommets and they didn't slide when opening up my curtains. These are uniquely designed to slide and you don't see any hardware. They are thick enough to keep out the heat in summer and block out the light.5
