This is honestly the worst quality item I’ve purchased from IKEA. I bought two of these beds for my kids, and both started having the same issue after only about 4 months of use. They make loud creaking noises every time there’s movement, which makes it really annoying and uncomfortable to sleep.
At first, they looked nice and seemed fine, but the durability is very disappointing. A bed frame should last much longer without these issues. I expected better quality, especially from IKEA.
I would not recommend this bed if you want something quiet and long-lasting.
not sturdy at all!!!TeaganUnless you weight the same as a twig do not get this bed the slats are so unstable you can’t even sit on the edge of the bed without them falling through, as well as the metal bars that are supposed to go under the slats are so flimsy and nearly impossible to even stew in in the first place!
