Had it for at least 3 yearsAnonymousI've had the black/natural version of this rug for years and I still love it - I think it's still the same price now. I put it in the washer and hang it dry about twice a year. It's held up really well. I put a liner/pad (also from IKEA) underneath it which is slightly sticky and holds it down well. I also use a bit of double-sided carpet tape to keep it in place. I love that it's washable, it's so convenient and air drying (indoors, hung over my dining chairs) is pretty quick. 5

Second, it's too flimsy for a rug, rather it is like a heavy blanket. It always has wrinkles which I'm afraid my elderly family members would trip over. It's going back.2
Great for kids play area on a budgetTaniaRather than buying an expensive washable rug, we double rug our baby's play area with two Tiphede. If not double rugging, I would definitely recommend a rug pad as these are quite thin on their own.
Not too soft/slippy, but also not too rough - they are perfect for little one to crawl on, and surprisingly resistant to spills. Because they are machine washable, we don't need to worry about little messes.
4 stars because the sizing is a little inconsistent (one rug was at least a half inch shorter than the other), and after a wash I have some doubts about longevity. But for the price, we are quite happy with this product!4

Folded rugCatherineThis rug is perfect size and material for our needs. The only issue is that I still see folds in the rug because of how it's packaged. Being folded instead of rolled has created lines in the rug. I even ironed it. Hopefully the lines will fade over time, but it's been months now. 3
Great rugOliviaI had a couple minor defects with the fabric in mine, but it's still a great rug. Just a spot or two where the pattern wasn't woven quite right. Would be perfect otherwise. It's exactly the size I needed and it's perfectly rectangular. You may need to iron it if you don't like wrinkles because it is packed folded.5

TerribleKelseyI’m deeply confused how this has so many good reviews! This rug is not soft, and extremely flimsy. It feels like an outdoor carpet but with the weight of a blanket. Even if you use the underlay may, it still bunches and slides.
Would recommend avoiding this. 1

Performs exceptionally well. Can’t live without it now lol. Plus huge bonus is that I toss it in washer and dryer once per week and have had zero issues doing so. Had only a minimal amount of shrinkage (few inches) with first wash only . It’s so soft on feet. Perfect thickness. Superior quality material with no odours. Loved it so much that I bought the larger sized one to put on the floor of our tent when camping, for a glamping experience for our feet. Worked perfect in tent and love it just as much there as well!5
