Sturdy and matches almost any decorAnonymousLove that it's customizable for stain, but even as it is, it fits any kind of decor. It's comfy, fairly easy to build, looks great, and I chose it because it's real wood.
SURPRISINGLY STURDYRuthPurchased this as a temporary addition to the main floor while recovering from surgery. We were both pleasantly surprised with the sturdiness of the construction. It may not look particularly sturdy, but it certainly is. I really wish more items were made of solid wood at Ikea as in the past and as in the Tarva line.
nice bed and good quality but the slats are notAlexI appreciate the bed but the slats need to be flat or they should at least give the choice to buy the flat ones..., the slats are the problem wt Ikea beds, they dont bed well and you tilt in the middle or fall of the sides, A lot of people are complaining about this on blogs and Reddit, especially, Seems like IKEA international does not want to make the change, The reason why everybody is now buying online I don't wanna mention the sites, but they are not going with these beds just because of the slats, They need to bring back the flat slats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good for the Price!SiddharthaA good easy to assemble bed frame. The new frame does not have steel diagonal members that were provided previously. They changed the design to a single horizontal member.
The frame is still strong enough and is easy to move around.
Affordable Simplicity RodgerMom was looking for something economical, doesn’t take up a lot of space, and able to support a queen mattress. Tarva checks the boxes. Time will tell, whether or not, this is a quality product or determine if the old adage, “You get what you pay for”, applies.

A clean and minimalist bed frameAnonymous reviewerTARVA is a clean and minimalist bed frame without the bells and whistles. It is made from pine, which means it dents easily however I love the fact that the material is sustainable. It isn't necessarily difficult to put the frame together but it does take a few hours.
After a month of use, I have not experienced any creeks or noises. You do need to tighten up one last time after the frame is fully assembled. The paint has chipped ever so slightly around a few corners. Sadly, IKEA does not sell the POPPARE white paint in Canada. Please bring it back!

excellent bed for the priceDikosavaI bought this bed in 1919 and it has been moved twice since, assembled and disassembled each time. It has held really well and it looks stunning. I upholstered the headboard with a comforter and a white cotton slip-on cover which I can remove and wash as needed. It looks amazing and is super solid and comfortable with a nice mattress on it. I have a queen size and love that it takes minimal amount of space around, no unnecessary bulk in the room, just a solid, minimalist design bed.
