  • All new materials have their own particular smell, which gradually disappears. Airing and vacuuming the rug will help to eliminate the smell.

    You will need 2 STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip (5'5"x7'9") for this rug. Trim if necessary.

    Rugs with structure or hard edges can cause marks on soft wooden floors even when used together with an anti-slip underlay.

    Do not tumble dry.

    Vacuum and rotate the rug regularly.

    Remove dried spots immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.

    Do not rub wet spots. Absorb moisture with paper towels, and clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

    Professional carpet cleaning when needed.

    Always use the standard floorhead, never the rotating brush, when vaccuming the rug.

It still sheds massively at every vacuum, it didn't straighten out, and now it's starting to unravel. I have it under a dining table with very limited traffic. I contacted customer service and was told there was nothing Ikea could do as I purchased it over 90 days ago. Love this rugAnonymous reviewerI originally purchased the LOHALS area rugs, but after opening the runner, I was surprised how uncomfortable it was underfoot. They have protruding balls of fiber where the fiber joins. I was very happy to find that the TÅGBILJETT rug did not have this. It's the same 13mm thickness, but much softer and without the protruding balls. I just wish they made a runner!5
