Product details

The entire cover is removable and machine washable, making your bed easy to keep clean and use for a long time. The cover comes in two pieces, so it’s easy to remove and put back on.

The soft cover has a timeless look with decorative details and a slightly wider headboard that gives the bed a unique look.

The strong and sturdy wooden legs made of solid oak enhance the warm and natural look of the bed frame.

The cover is made from the dope-dyed fabric Tibbleby of which at least 90% is recycled polyester. It has a slight lustre and a discreet herringbone pattern.

The soft, padded headboard is comfortable to lean against while reading or watching TV in bed.

You can easily vacuum under the bed frame to keep the space clean and dust-free.

The bed frame is easy to assemble and has a lightweight and sturdy construction

You can buy an additional cover separately – in the same style or with a different expression if you want some variety

The back of the headboard is finished with a gray fabric.

Combine this bed frame with a slatted bed base with a max. thickness of 4 cm to keep the slats hidden in the frame. The slats of a higher bed base may be visible along the sides of the bed.

Care

Low quality and bad designOrenThe bed frame was disassembled and then broke in less than a year, and IKEA won’t cover it. They also don’t have any replacement parts available. I’m basically going to have to throw it in the garbage. Very disappointing experience!1
Frame breaks quickly, poor qualitySabineUnfortunately very poor quality, I've only had the bed for 7 months (king size) and have always slept in it on my own. Now my parents are visiting and the bed broke on the second night. Probably because there was now weight on both sides. Very sad, especially as you can see from the older comments from 2024 that this seems to be a common problem but nothing is being changed by the manufacturer.1
SolidSarahWe're very pleased with this bed frame. We bought a new mattress elsewhere, and it's a snug fit, but that's not a bad thing. It means putting on fresh sheets can be tricky, but it's not difficult. The frame is well-constructed. I do recommend going over all the bolts one last time before you add the mattress, though. Once everything is put together, you might find that previously tight bolts need to be tightened again. I like the headboard on this bed. It's comfortable to lean against, and it's thick enough to ward off the winter chill.5
Very cheapLyndsayHave had this bed for a little over a month, and the wood at the base snapped. The material is extremely cheap. Though it looks nice, there is absolutely no support in the frame. For a king size, there are only four supports on the outer corners and NOTHING in the middle. Horribly designed. 3

I don't recommend it KarinaThe bed took a long time to assemble, and the material is poorly attached and doesn’t lay properly. However, these are minor issues compared to the fact that it creaks even with the slightest movement. The boards feel old and fragile, as if they might break soon, which explains the noise. I can’t sleep because of it and am extremely disappointed. I would like to know how to return it without a receipt.1
Disappointing- avoid this bedKayleeI recently purchased this bed, and I cannot express how disappointed I am with the quality and assembly process. From the moment we began assembling it, we encountered numerous issues. Firstly, nothing lined up properly during assembly. We had to shave down some of the wood just to get the screws to fit. Even after that, aligning everything properly to ensure a secure fit was a huge headache. This process not only took longer than expected but also left us with sore backs from all the awkward bending and maneuvering. The overall construction feels incredibly flimsy and cheaply made. I seriously doubt how long this bed will last, and we’re already contemplating whether we should have returned it. However, living 1300 km away means that returning it would be a monumental hassle. So, we’ve decided to stick it out for now. 1
Broke in 2 MonthsLaurenPurchased, and assembled this bed Nov. 18th, 2024. Last night in the middle of sleeping the foot of the bed snapped and collapsed. Extremely cheaply made. If the isn't made to take the weight of a king size mattress and two adults, it shouldn't be available in this size for consumers2
