Great lower-budget frameCaitlynnReally great quality material for the price. Feels very sturdy & it matches with our other dark wood furniture. However, it did come with a chip in the paint on the metal headboard piece so im a bit upset about that, hence just 4 stars for me. Otherwise itd be 5/5!
Solid and stylish but headboard caves inJennyThe headboard is just a fabric piece that wraps around the top bar. If you lean against your bed, there's no support beam for your back. Over time the fabric will bend and leave you hunched over, unless you get more pillows. But the bed is very sturdy after a year, no squeaks or other problems.
So difficult to assembleJoannaI had three people looking at the instructions and still could not figure the back headboard assembly. In the end we had to make shift a solution and live with the alteration as the pieces did not fit together and the instructions were useless. I get picture instructions but please do better is showing up, down, left and right peices.
Great bed frame!AixaMy husband and I got this bed frame and assembled it by ourselves very easily (with absolutely no experience in assembling furniture) so do not worry about the assembly process, it comes with a guide showing you step by step even with illustrations.
The item is exactly as shown in the pictures and feels very sturdy when fully assembled!
It also has the option to adjust the height of the base depending on your mattress thickness.

Looks nice but doesn’t hold the mattress flat.EmilyBought this bed in a king size and the mattress that was being sold together on the ikea website. The bed in the king size has the metal beam down the middle and wooden slats on each side. Which causes it to be like two twins put together instead of a nice big king. My son co-sleeps with us and rolls into me and my husband because of how it’s situated. Very uncomfortable even when you are straight in the nook it creates. Now we need to spend more money trying to figure out how we can fix this. Definitely do not recommend buying this bed. Defeats the purpose of have a nice big bed if you can only lay in a small section of it to feel somewhat comfortable. Not to mention if you are out of the spot you wake up so sore from the drastic divots.

Sturdy and NIce colourDianeI love this frame. Its light and easy to move, but sturdy, no squeaks. I love the green colour.
Depressed in the centre, not able to sleep on the side. HarshI weight close to 200 pounds and been using this bed for over 2 months now. The bed has depressed in the centre, and sloping into a V shape. It’s not comfortable to sleep two because you slide into the centre leaving little room for the other person and you also can’t sleep flat. Very frustrating and disappointing because it took over 3 hours to assemble it together.

Great!VictoriaExactly the aesthetic I wanted. Seems sturdy enough. Took us 1.5 hours to assemble, not sure why so many reviewers had issues. Just pay attention to the different screw sizes and the direction of the headboard fabric. Pairs with the Juttersbo utility cart super well (only comes up when you look up the # 404.989.41).
Lovely bed but watch your knees DeniseI really liked this bed. It was not very difficult to put together and the finish is quite pretty.. Head fabric is a nice green with a very, very thin gray stripe through it so it breaks it up quite nicely. My Only complaint about the bed , and yes, I did see it in the picture the fact that the legs stick out from the rest of the bedframe and on a couple of occasions I have banged my knees, which is quite painful.
I wish the frames had come in other colours as well, as I would’ve liked one from my spare room.
I managed to buy my frame while it was on sale and that made it an even better deal.

It was easier than I thought it would be after reading some other reviews. Note about the zip on headboard cushion… zip it on after you have the headboard portion completely finished. Just flip the headboard over and zip on. It’s easier to get it on at this point. Then put the rest of the bed together. I love the green! It goes perfect with my new bedding!
