Product details
The lid closes slowly and softly, which reduces the risk of pinching your fingers.
The inner container has a ring that holds the waste bag in place. The ring is removable, either for easy cleaning or if you do not want to use it
The pedal bin is easy to move since it has a grip-friendly overhang on the back.
Pedal bin that is nice-looking enough to have visible – regardless if you need a large waste container or want to sort more bulky objects such as paper and bottles.
A good place for waste sorting is in the kitchen, and as close to the sink as possible since it helps you avoid spills. This is also where most waste is generated.

Pedal snapped off in 3 months, as the pedal is made of plastic. No way to return it as it has been used. Terrible terrible design and we should all be reimbursed

WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCENiveditaI am new to the country and have not bought a car yet. That’s why chose to get this trash can delivered to a drop-off location nearby. I walked all the way to the drop-off location and carried it back home. Was very excited getting a stainless steel trash can. As soon as I opened it, I noticed there was a dent on the body and the rubber lining on the foot pedal is broken. The shipping box is intact. Then how is the product inside broken? To make things worse, when I tried returning this broken product that was sent to me, IKEA is asking me to come to the store to return it. I chose an online delivery just to avoid visiting the store due to transport issues. For no fault of mine, I have to now bear this broken product’s delivery fee, I have to pay to travel to the store and carrying this huge item with me. This is absolutely unacceptable. Very worried to use IKEA’s online delivery platform now. Why would anyone pack and send a broken product intentionally??
Broken after 1.5 monthsJillianWe ordered this trash can in mid-April, and today the foot pedal broke. For what we paid, I would expect it to last at least longer than 2 months. I am very, very disappointed in this product, especially because it’s the perfect size for our space.

Keep breaking in the same placeNadiaThere is a design flaw with this bin, i have recplaced it 2 -3 times and it keeps breaking around the same place. It's the pedal that is used to open the lid. One side keep snapping off. It's been designed very weakly. It costs a lot of money hence why my replacement is always the same.
