Huge Letdown/Missing basic functionality - Cannot control individual lightsNathanialI bought the Dirigera hub and 3x Tretakt with this because all of the advertising on the website led me to believe this remote can control 10 INDIVIDUAL lights, which it cannot.

I spent $200 specifically so I can turn individual lights on/off from a single point of contact. I would not have purchased this if it was clear it CANNOT individually control lights from the remote. It's insane that this remote has arrows, which one would think would allow you to cycle through paired devices, and yet they are assigned solely to change colors. I'd argue this product is falsely advertised through intentional omission of what many would expect as a fundamental feature/use case.

Works as advertisedKatrinaInitially I was a bit worried as some reviews had mentioned pairing issues, but I did not have any issues when connecting the remote to my IKEA lightbulb.
The remote magnetizes to a backplate that is able to be attached to a wall/surface via adhesive or with screws - I decided to use the adhesive and can attest to the strength of the hold.

Terrible Quality ControlOsamaOriginally bought 2 remotes. One worked, the other one didn’t (had a mechanical issue with the buttons, and it wouldn’t pair). Couldn’t return ‘cuz we live 1.5 hours away from the store. Ordered another one online, for this one, the battery door does not open when unlocked.
I was initially happy with the system as I set it up, but the remote quality has my confidence dwindling.

Tip for linking to lightsRobI just received this Styrbar remote control yesterday and the set-up was really easy. I think the key to the easy set-up is based on how long you hold the link button. If you let go as soon as the lights flick on and brighten/dim, the connection will not work - you need to hold the link button for the full 10 seconds and then it will hold the connection just fine.
This remote is a little bigger than the Tradfri that it replaces, but the magnet inside is strong enough to just place it on the wall where there's a metal drywall stud and it will stay put just fine without having to add screws or use the self-adhesive stickers (unless you want a really strong adhesion).
NOTE: I bought this due to my Tradfri remote suddenly not working, but in the interim I discovered a good post of Reddit explaining how to reset both the light fixtures and the remote and now it works just fine. So if you're having the same issue, do some research before buying a replacement!

Not as good as the Tradfri, which it replacesAdamThis is a step down from the Tradfri remote. It has fewer buttons, and you need to press and hold to change the brightness. Also, the battery is harder to replace (requires a screwdriver).

Styrbar dimmerJohanneThe dimmer was purchased to accompany the Nymane hanging light fixture over our kitchen table. It is discreet, and can modify the light intensity as well as colour.
Mostly Fool ProofAlmaThis system was easy enough to use and the magnetic function was a welcome one. I did have to google and head to Reddit when my remote seemingly stopped working no matter how many different batteries I put into it. I had to learn how yo hard reset the remote and while the instructions say to quickly press the button X times I found that doing it more than suggested, in super quick succession did the trick while following official instructions yielded no results. Overall I am happy with this system and now that I know how to reset it, I feel much better about the longevity of my purchase.
