And ZERO squeaks - i had Task Rabbit assemble it. The foot frame/board aids in moving the bed to change bedding. This bed-frame resembles days gone by of IKEA exceptional quality. IKEA pls kick it up a notch with all your quality .. or have two-tiered options IF need be.

Not worth itSepidehI am extremely disappointed with this bed. I bought it about a year ago, and from the beginning it made some noise, but it has only gotten worse over time. Now it squeaks every time I move, to the point where I can’t even sleep properly.
I’ve checked and tightened the screws multiple times, but the noise keeps coming back. For the price, I expected much better quality and durability.
Honestly, this bed isn’t worth it, even if it were free. I would not recommend it to anyone and regret buying it.

Safety issuesNataliiaAfter about a year of normal use, this bed frame developed extremely loud creaking and squeaking. Upon inspection, I found that one of the metal threaded inserts had come loose from the frame and can be pulled out completely. Because of this, the side panel can no longer be properly secured, and the bed no longer feels structurally stable.
There are no signs of misuse, cracking, or damage around the insert, which makes this appear to be a manufacturing or quality defect rather than normal wear and tear.
I contacted IKEA Canada and provided photos, but was told no warranty coverage or repair solution was available. This was disappointing given that the issue affects the structural integrity and safety of the bed.
Buyers in Canada should carefully review warranty coverage before purchasing.
