Smells terribleAisWe recently bought this slattum queen size bedframe. During assembly we noticed that the upholstered parts had a very strong, unpleasant chemical smell. We decided to finish assembling it and leave the bedroom window and door open, hoping the smell would go away.
It has now been 5 days, and the odor is still extremely strong. The entire room now smells the same terrible as the bedframe. We have been forced to sleep in our children’s room all this time, opening all windows, trying odor absorbers and ventilation, but nothing helps.
I am very sensitive to strong smells. Everytime I approach the bed, I feel nauseous and on the verge of vomiting. This situation has caused significant discomfort and stress for me and my family.
We are now at a loss about how to return it, as we do not have a car at the moment and originally transported it ourselves. It will be extremely difficult for us to take it back to the store under these circumstances.1
