Washable coversPritpalWhen I tried to order it. It shows grey covers in the picture but make sure it’s white for the color. Ikea doesn’t sell the bed separately.
Do not buy this bedAdamAfter less than 1 year of use, the bed-frame broke (the plank at the feet of the bed just collapsed with no opportunities to repair it myself). I know it's Ikea but I expected a little bit more for their more pricey bed frames. Customers service is designed to avoid talking to you about refunds or solutions and now i'm stuck with broken garbage and +600$ less in my pockets.
Legs are defectiveKaterynaWe purchased a bed from IKEA for our son, and sadly this experience has been extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, the bed legs were wobbling and not working properly, making the bed unstable and unsafe. As parents, this is especially upsetting because this bed was meant for our child, and safety should never be a concern.

Good product ShahdadBeen using this for almost two years now with no issues. Was a bit tough to assemble single-handed but still doable.
Bed frame MaurissaIt is a nice bed frame, but it is SO squeaky. It will pick up any movement at all. Would not advise going with this one.
Beautiful and comfortableNadezdaI love my new Sagesund queen bed. It looks so fresh, lightens up my bedroom. It was relatively easy to assemble. Super comfy with cushions in the headboard. Im very happy with its performance so far, but I have just received it a couple of days ago.
Bad productBrianThis bed collapsed with my infant son in it, as I literally sat giving him a bottle. Reported to IKEA Canada, confirmed no warranty at all and referred to the Safety Department for reporting, yet their phone calls continuously dropped. They never returns calls when inquiries made. As well
VALEVÅG hybrid mattress is not firm at all and does not fit the frame. It literally slides in the frame itself, bunching at the bottom, rending a backboard useless, which was half the reason I bought this model. IKEA does not care about the safety of your family.
Legs Break easilyAndrewHave purchased many IKEA beds and this one although it looks nice I do not recommend. The legs are not strong enough for simple movements. One of the legs snapped taking part of the frame with it. I cannot find where I can get a replacement part of the wood frame to repair.
SQUEAKS LOUDLYGloriaStrong not recommended. If there were an option to leave a ZERO-star review, I would absolutely use it. It SQUEAKS loudly with even the slightest movement causes loud and disturbing noises. Every time we turn over during the night, the squeaking wakes us up. It has made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. We reassembled it, but the problem remains. We're average-sized people using an old mattress—nothing extreme. Your staff says it's past the 3-month return window, which is unacceptable. A bed frame should last at least a year. I’ve also seen many SIMILAR complaints from other countries—this seems like a global issue. IKEA should consider recalling this product. I’ve recorded a video showing how loud the squeaks are and will post it on social media to warn others who are considering purchasing a bed frame from IKEA.
Cheap material NoelleWould not recommend this bed. When we first assembled it and set it into place, we thought we may have heard a leg crack. Didn’t think much of it until just now, was changing the sheets and the bed moved a bit and the entire leg cracked off, breaking some of the wood as well. Completely unacceptable for a bed to not withstand simple movements.
For $500, it should last longer than a year.

Squeaky!MaggieThis bed fit a lot of our criteria, as it has no footboard and a comfy headboard to lean against. It also fits our Casper king mattress well (tightly wedges in with no gaps or issues). But the wood on wood joints are way squeakier than ikea’s metal beds. We have had ikea beds for years and this is the first wooden one, and is definitely the loudest. Even slight movement at night makes noise. I thought we could live with it but it’s getting annoying. We just passed our 90 day return window and we live 4+ hours from the nearest store, or I would be returning it for sure :(
ABSOLUTELY LOVE!CherylI purchased 2 queens. Fabric is durable. It’s fantastic to be able to remove fabric for cleaning. Fits mattress well. Best feature are the built in cushions. So comfortable to sit up against. Now purchasing one for my king bed:)

Do not recommend KaliPoor quality bed. Fabric feels like outdoor furniture fabric and bed shakes when you move and I am only 115 ponds. Not a great purchase!
