Good to know

With RODRET wireless dimmer, you can dim your lighting without a wired-in installation.

The dimmer has a maximum range of 33 ft when not blocked by walls.

To reset and remove all connected products, quick press the pairing button 4 times (within 5 seconds).

Can only be used with IKEA Smart lighting products.

Special waste handling may be required. Please contact your local authorities for more information.

You can add up to 10 LED light sources so that they all switch on, off or are dimmed at the same time.

A magnet makes it easy to mount the dimmer to the wall bracket or other metal surfaces.

Laggy, unreliable, and not worth the frusteration.SpencerThis is the single worst zigbee switch I've ever used. I don't have it connected to any kind of home automation set, just paired to a single bulb. The button inputs are recieved maybe 1 in 5 times by the bulb, when they do work there is a half second delay, and most of the time it just doesn't do anything. It's going straight into the trash since Ikea's return counter has an average wait of over 2 hours. So much for sustainability! Never buying electronics from Ikea again, it's clear they have zero quality control. 1

This is not ideal for kitchensCindyThe under counter kitchen light uses a remote control. This doesn't work with a typical wall dimmer. It doesn't match the switches on the wall where you would have this. The remote will get lost as its not permanently fixed to the wall. This is a terrible design for a kitchen. Will probably return this if it can't be used with a typical dimmer switch. 1
Only one switch per lamp :(AndreyI already have smart Ikea lamp in my bedroom with a switch. I think TRADFRI. The switch is on my bed. I bought this to have the switch next to my bedroom door , so not to go to my bed every time to turn on/off the lights when I enter the room. But only one switch can be programmed to work with the lights.1

Great product for the price.JurgenIt was a little tricky to get it paired. I now have it paired to 2 under cabinet power adapters and it works. Takes a few button pushes to wake it up to change the brightness. 5
Did not work with HomeAssistantElaineWe could not get the Rodret switch to load properly into HomeAssistant. We bought 2 and neither worked. The previous square Tradfri switches work great - wish we could get more of those. Returning the Rodret switches.1
Bad quality controlCamielI bought 2 of these. One was able to pair with my new lamp right away. The other one turned out to be broken. The little button you press for pairing did not work.2
Works great, saved us from extra electrical work. CaroleWe renovated an old kitchen, these work perfectly with Ikea under counter and in cabinet lights we purchased. With driver, we did not need an electrician to add hardwires and switches. Love it!! 5
