Easy to assemble but fabric doesn't fit the frame JenComfortable and very easy to set up the frame, you just have to pay attention to the manual/instructions. Other reviews seem to be right about the fabric. It's like defected and it seems that Ikea didn't review it before releasing in regards to the sizing. It doesn't fit the corners of the bed frame when trying to velcrow the bottom corners (the footboard). I'd say about 2" inches is missing for the textile portion of the footboard. They clearly tailored it too small. The overall height and comfortability to sleep on is a 10/10 but the tailoring of the fabric is definitely not right as the sizing is too small for the footboard portion. Other reviews also say that the fabric smells, it really does. It comes in a box and not in a plastic bag. I tried to air out the fabric for a whole month (didn't wash it) and the smell was still there until I put the fabric cover over the bed frame, the smell wasn't obvious. 4

The smell of the covers is really badFangyuanThe smell of the covers is too bad. For the first time, I washed and dried them. And then, I washed my own sheet. My own sheet had the same bad smell, too. At that moment, I was aware of that my washer and dryer had the same terrible smell, too. I had to wash the covers again and again in order to mitigate this smell.
I have found similar reviews which indicates I am not the only person who has encountered this issue.

I bought this bed as a replacement from an IKEA metal frame that I’ve had for over six years. One of the reasons why I bought this bed was that the metal one started to squeak after a few years. This bed has been squeaking from day one and it’s a bit annoying. if I knew that I wouldn’t have purchased his bed.2

Super squeaky SamanthaHave had this for about 2 years now. From the beginning this bed frame has squeaked, it only gets worse. With any small movement the bed squeaks and wakes us up. It looks very nice, but would not recommend if you want to sleep!2
baskets not includedAdamWe love that the upholstery is detachable and machine washable; also the frame is quite stable to sleep on, but i wish the feet of the bed had more grip to stop it from sliding on finished wood floors. Also of note: **STORAGE BASKETS ARE NOT INCLUDED** and it's not quite obvious which ones on the website are paired with this frame. 3
Smells after weeks of airing outDanaThe bed still smells, even after weeks of airing out. We left it completely open without a mattress on it to let it all air out. No success. Still smells.
