Bed is good but customer service bad surprise !!!!!AnastasiaI would like to share my recent experience regarding an online bed purchase. Due to time constraints, I opted to shop online, believing it to be a convenient option. However, I have encountered significant disappointment.
Upon nearly completing the setup of my new bed, I discovered that a crucial component—the slatted bed base—was missing. This essential part was not included with the bed, and there was no indication during the purchasing process that it needed to be bought separately. While I received suggestions for other items at checkout, the absence of this vital component was not mentioned.
I was left without a proper place to sleep and had to wake my toddler to rush to IKEA before closing at 9 PM to purchase this part. I was informed by IKEA customer service that this is a common drawback of buying items online.
I kindly request that you consider adding this important information to the online product description to prevent future customers from experiencing similar issues.

Much better quality than I expectedChristinaOrdered this bed for my 10 year old daughter. I just loved the stripes. It arrives quite fast. I actually assembled most of it myself except one last part to put the whole bed together. If you follow the instructions you will be fine. I was really impressed with the fabric quality. I actually did wash the covers fiest because I dislike that new chemical smell. Like others mentioned the foot and headboard paper the fabric gets a little tight but I assure you this is normal. Take your time and follow the steps. The bed once assembled looks beautiful and actually quite sturdy. We had a box spring so we used that along woth our mattress we already had. She loves her new bed
Works perfectly for my small roomSusannahEasy to put together (although you definitely need a second person). It has a fairly small footprint and a low head so it fits in a smaller space. I am very happy with it.
The smell of the covers is really badFangyuanThe smell of the covers is too bad. For the first time, I washed and dried them. And then, I washed my own sheet. My own sheet had the same bad smell, too. At that moment, I was aware of that my washer and dryer had the same terrible smell, too. I had to wash the covers again and again in order to mitigate this smell.
I have found similar reviews which indicates I am not the only person who has encountered this issue.
I hope IKEA could take this quality issue seriously!!!
