I love the lamp, but pairing RodRet remote doesn't work for me.DonnaThe directions say to hold the RodRet 5 cm. from the item to be paired, and hold the pairing symbol for 10 seconds or more. Does anyone know which end of the lamp I should try to pair it with? I presume that must be somewhere in the base, but nothing has worked for me yet.4

It's a good lampPriscillaI purchased this lamp to help the general light of my apartment and it illuminates pretty well, also it looks amazing. I did not purchase the remote on-off as I think it's not necessary for my use. 5
works well, lights up a large spaceCiaragives off a good amount of light. i needed this for a dark room with a very dim overhead light and it works very well. i will be purchasing the dimmer switch to go with it. the base is heavy and sturdy and the shape makes it more interesting than a typical floor lamp. 5
Read this before purchasing AnsonThe lamp has a great built quality to it, the base is pretty heavy making a good base. Someone else said the lamp is wobbly from where the light and the base attach, this is not true because the other reviewer just didn't tighten the base and the light together enough. (It comes with a wrench to tighten them together) The light the lamp emits is perfect not too warm or white but is pretty bright right out of the box. There lamp does not include a remote so there is no way to dim it. I bought the RODRET remote instead of the TRADFRI remote that was recommended in the discription and it works fine. The remote only allows two levels of dimming which is a little disappointing. I would totally recommend this product with the remote! 5
WobblyErikaLove the lamp - but where it connects to the base is wobbly. My cat will sometimes rub against the lamp and because it’s not secure the light will flick on and off. I’m not sure if it’s just mine or a common problem, but something to keep in mind if you have animals or children.3
Beautiful floor lampClintonAwesome lamp! Definitely a good buy. It would've been cool if Ikea mentioned you need a separate remote for brightness. Plus, you can't change the light color with the remote. Other than that, it's spot on!5

Bought for my son’s room and it looks really cool. Brighter than you think, but not too bright and he thinks it’s kind of Star Wars looking. Makes his room look modern and cool. Everyone compliments on it.

"The idea with PILSKOTT lamps was to create dynamic graphic shapes by using a bendable LED strip that gives unexpected light effects. The inspiration for the pendant lamp came from things like an airplane or flash of lightning silhouetted against the sky. With the floor lamp I wanted to combine a slender sculptural silhouette with the feel of a soft rolling wave. The modern minimalist design is also filled with the latest technology. Fantastic light in a contemporary style!"
