Beautiful shearsColleenThe shear curtains looks so great. They are a bit too long, so I will have to hem them, but otherwise they are perfect5
uneven lengthAllisonSimilar to other Ikea curtains I've bought, these are not even in length. So, beware if you are hoping to use them straight out of the package. I hemmed mine, so it wasn't relevant for me. This fabric is definitely harder to work with than something like cotton, so be forewarned. Pin liberally, and iron for a really good crease first (on a polyester setting, with a damp ironing cloth to avoid burning and to help set the crease). If you iron well, the sewing is much easier. And if you're using a sewing machine, put tissue paper behind your seam when you sew to help prevent puckering and fabric getting sucked into the machine. You can easily tear it off afterwards. Otherwise, these look nice, and the pleat with the W-curtain hooks looks nice with the lightweight nature of this fabric.4
