The timeless design works just as well in the bedroom as in the bathroom. Hang it vertically or horizontally – and if you mount the mirror with hinges you can hide keys and smaller things on the wall behind.

Good to know

Hang the mirror using the included hinges or the wall brackets on the back of the mirror, according to the assembly instructions. Use screws, sold separately, suitable for the wall material in your home.

To be mounted securely in place, this mirror requires 2 screws if hung on the wall and 4 screws if it is attached with hinges.

Different wall materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for the walls in your home.

If you live in apartment use it in your main space or entry or in your bedroom / walk-in in your house. It is definitely a must have. Deceiving PicturesJoyceGood mirror but pictures are deceiving. It looks like there's enough space to hang keys and even a purse from the picture, but in reality there's only about .5"-.75" clearance in the back. Not sure what you can hang with such little depth? Definitely not a purse or a keychain with multiple keys. Otherwise it's a good heavy mirror. Beware that it doesn't come with any screws for hanging.3

What is mirror glass?

Mirror glass comprises mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.
