It looks like there's enough space to hang keys and even a purse from the picture, but in reality there's only about .5"-.75" clearance in the back. Not sure what you can hang with such little depth? Definitely not a purse or a keychain with multiple keys. Otherwise it's a good heavy mirror. Beware that it doesn't come with any screws for hanging.3

Works pretty wellPatI wanted a mirror and storage for necklaces. This ticked both boxes. It required modifications to the hooks to enable the mirror to close flush to the wall. We used Command Velcro to then keep it closed while being easy yo swing open. Overall, good I think4
