I like it.CWhat I Like: 1. The ceramic-coated stainless-steel wok is made from safe materials, has a good shape, and is the right size for my daily cooking (though I'd prefer a 10-inch). 2. It's lightweight, with a long handle, and heats up quickly. 3. The smooth surface is easy to cook with and clean, requiring minimal maintenance. 4. The 6-inch flat bottom suits my electric coil stovetop and allows for faster cooking with less oil and water compared to wider woks. 5. The price is affordable. 5

Dislike this one NancyWe used to get the other similar one, since IKEA stopped make that one, this is our only option. It says on this one, “non stick”, yes, the bottom part is not bad. But they make the side part super thin. Once your flame passes to the side part, the side part of pot becomes black and starts getting super sticky. Please bring the old one back, this one is definitely not working well. 2

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
