Great curtainsJuliaI see people have washed these, and they shrunk. I’ve washed my two sets multiple times with no problem. Wash alone in cold. And I dry each curtain by itself on very low heat. I remove just before almost dry, and hang. Any wrinkles will fall out. Best to have them just a little damp, not much.5
Not really recommended LeaAfter more than 1 year of purchasing the curtains, I washed them following the exact instructions written on the product. The curtains shrank each one in a different height. 2

Different lengths and SHRUNK!LisaThey had different lengths inside the same package to start with. After washing in cold water and tumbling dry, they lost about 8 inches in length! Instructions were even warm water, I don't get it.2

They Shrink at Different RatesManpreetI had a pair of these curtains for a while and decided to get a second pair. The first pair had been washed several times, but I measured the new pair against the old ones and the new ones were only a tiny bit longer. I decided to wash them all together, and the new pair shrank so much!
The care tag says to "tumble dry hot," but I only use the delicate setting for a few minutes after I've hung them till they've mostly dried.
Now my new pair is around 3.5" shorter than I need them to match the first pair, and my receipt is long gone. The same thing happened with a second duvet cover, too.
Whatever Ikea has been doing lately is not it. 3

Excellent Value, Great Quality.AnonymousI bought 10 pairs for a big slider and even bigger lounge windows! The fabric is thick enough and does not let any light through. They add that modern touch without being too clinical (unless you have a sterile white everywhere vibe is your thing). Easy to wash. A little shrinkage, so factor that in BEFORE cutting and hemming, always wash then dry FIRST. I dried these on super low and hung them semi damp to get the crinkles out. Overall, very please with these curtains.5
