Product details

Ample storage space is hidden neatly under the bed in 2 large drawers. Perfect for storing duvets, pillows and bed linen.

The storage boxes are easy to roll out and in thanks to the castors on the base.

MALM bed storage boxes work perfectly with MALM bed frame. They fit neatly into the space under the bed and will be flush against sides.

You can sit up comfortably in bed thanks to the high headboard – just prop some pillows behind your back and you will have a comfortable place to read or watch TV.

This versatile bed frame will look great with your choice of textiles and bedroom furniture.

Adjustable bed sides allow you to use mattresses of different thicknesses.

LURÖY slatted bed base with curved slats helps to absorb your body weight and supports your body, while the open construction allows air to circulate and keeps the mattress fresh.

Reasonable priced and comfortKevinDelivery was made on time and the assembly of this bed was not difficult. I really liked the pull-out drawers and the base bottom is made out of a solid wood panel, not a thin base. The 2 drawers also come with 4 wheels and this bed has no drawer tracks, they can be placed on either side of the bed. I had this bed for about 2 months now and it is comfortable enough. More colours should be made available for this bed. I only had the choice of white or grey during my purchase. 4
Squeaky as hellJimBought this bed and cant sleep on it. Squeaks all the time even if I just turn around to other side while sleeping. Initially it was manageable but now it has become worse. I contacted the customer care and was told there is literally no (Not void) warranty on this product and I cant return this product as well. Somehow I remember while purchasing, I was told it has standard warranty by Ikea, but well I do not have any receipt to prove it (Lesson taught to me - Get it printed when you buy it). Now that it has not been even one year, I am stuck with this squeaky bed.2

Wouldn't getHouseWe bought both of our kids these beds when we moved in about 2 years ago ... slats came off the ribbon and broke on one and the fronts came off the drawers on both , wasn't impressed won't buy again not to mention the drawers busted on a malm dresser we had too !2

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
