Il y a 6 ans, nous avions acheté cet item, qui s’est avéré extrêmement robuste. Le tissé était serré, la finition soignée. Nous l’adorions.
Nous avons racheté le même tapis récemment, et une fois arrivé à la maison nous avons immédiatement constaté que la qualité n’était plus du tout au rendez-vous.
Ce n’est plus le même produit: le tapis ressemble à un vulgaire sac de jute…. Il se froisse facilement, il glisse, il semble y avoir deux fois moins de matière, on voit à travers.
Nous allons nous en débarrasser tellement le rendu est mauvais. Le prix parait désormais largement excessif pour le produit.
Ce qui est d’autant plus choquant est que le site d’IKEA affiche toujours les photos de l’ancien modèle, ce qui d’après moi constitue de la publicité mensongère.
Bref, passez votre chemin.
Buying on repeatOlimpiaI bought this on different sizes for the last 8 years, using mostly in the kitchen sink cabinets area and breakfast table area. It’s durable, doesn’t shed or wrinkle, covers ugly ceramic floors that I don’t want to deal with, yet. Easy to vacuum, easy to wipe stains. For me it’s a classic, I love it and will always have it. It’s affordable so I change it periodically.

A Mat for a RajKevinThis mat deserves more time. So that I may craft words worthy. Because, it needs it. I haven't placed it for use because of this very same thing. It should be considered very very carefully for purchase but I have this feeling it could change your entire room.
You might be wondering why I say Raj and not Raani or Maharani. The mat gave me a feeling of the masculine. What, is wrong with that? I learned this concept through French and then Spanish speaking people. That is why their nouns have this imbued. It is so we are comfortable with this feeling.
I consider deleting this as I write because, these days, it feels like, what is the point of writing. What is the point, of taking your time, to craft things, when it will just be copied and swallowed by the machine.
I am going to leave this here but I am so fearful of how it could be used to gain traction between East and West, West and East. but without the work. This mat is high quality so be careful.

Great quality and looks greatLauraI love that this rug lays flat, it’s not super thick, and there isn’t an odour, like some new rugs, especially jute, have. It’s finished well and is a nice neutral look.
Beautiful rugLidaPerfect neutral colour. Textured nicely. The texture is bumpy but evenly looped so it doesn’t feel awkward to walk on. It lays flat right away when you unroll it. I put two 7 x 9 butted up to eachother to fill a large living room. Evenly edged so they line up perfectly and look like one big huge rug which I never could have found or afforded a rug this big!!

Love itSusanWe love this rug in our library/tv room. Its rustic charm fits well in our century home. We were able to cut out an opening for our heating vent and place the cast iron vent cover on top. It does have a rough texture, as some reviewers have mentioned - and we like it!

DisappointingSelinI liked this at the store but I received a rug that looks like it’s been used already, it looks damaged and there are a lot of knots on the surface. The knots and piling also make it hard on the feet. The rug is heavy and I don’t have a car so I don’t know how to return this but definitely will not be using. Overall disappointed

Looked nice at first, but absolutely awful to maintainTylerAt first, we loved the look of this rug. After owning it for only about 2 months, it has been an absolute nightmare. DO NOT get this rug if you have kids, pets, or plan to use in a high traffic area. It will fall apart and detach thousands of little fibers. It's extremely difficult to clean and stains WAY too easily. This rug is more of a "show piece" and should not be used in any space that gets any traffic what so ever.

What is jute?
Jute is a very hardwearing fibre that is found in the stem of the jute plant. It’s an easy-to-grow plant that requires very little fertilizer, pesticides or water and is ready to harvest after only 120 days. The jute fibre is often used for ropes and sacks but is also known for its silky-smooth lustre and can be spun into finer threads which are then woven. In our range we often use woven jute for items like curtains, rugs and furniture.
