Both simple and logical. The locomotive lights up as it steams ahead on the rails. Can be used with most other railway systems on the market.Recommended for children 3 years and older.Batteries are sold separately. Good product but...TrainsmanGood product but the battery life is very short.4
Excellent toyBubbie 1My grandson toddler truly loves it.5
CR1983The battery runs out too fast. I wish the on off button was a separe one from forward/backwards. The little guy can't put the button in the middle and just switches between forward and backward. Hence the battery life is short. :))3
My toddler loves itMissMeiThis is a great battery-operated train that my toddler plays with almost every day. She loves turning it on and off and seeing where it will go. It’s fallen off many coffee tables and is still in great working condition.5
Money well spentHennesseyIt's a pretty cool addition to the train set, plus we've used it even more for more open play. It can trek it's way UP some of our plastic car ramps, go on and off rugs around the house, etc. No complaints about battery life (with non-rechargables) despite my 3 year old constantly holding it back or leaving it running.5
Mark o9I bought this 3moths ago and my grandson love it5
Neat Addition to the Train SetCFL FanThis is a really cool addition to the Lillabao train set and made my son quite excited to play with his train set. The only downside is that the battery engine is too tall to fit under the hills that come with the set. It can muscle it's way up but cannot go under it at all. Just an odd quirk to it.4
Ackt2016Great little locomotive. Lights up and provides hours of fun for my little boy.5
Battery drainer!Big_aristotleWent through 5 sets of batteries in a span of 2 weeks! Also moves slow, especially going up an incline - my 2 year old gives it a gentle push so it can go faster.3
Little Engine That CouldLNL1Was pleasantly surprised how powerful this little train was. My son loves it. Even using rechargeable batteries, this locomotive does not burn through the charge as some toys. Need more style or colours, so we can run a couple of trains around the track at the same time5
Perfect for the train can go around our treeDianeL12We are so excited that we bought a second one.. . . LOL5
GoodMâmofboysBought this for my son and he loves it!4
Eats up batteries like crazyMissMiss884Works well but will completely drain the batteries in a day or less. We use rechargeble batteries, but have to charge them every day. Not pratical. Not for very young children either because we have to tell them not to try and control or touch the train too much since it makes the mecansim work harder and shortens the battery life even more.2
Drains batterieskristin12345I bought this a month ago, and my son loves it. However, it drains the batteries in a few hours. We’ve tried many different brands to see if that helps, but regardless we can’t get more than a few hours out of it. Also, you can’t drive it manually on the tracks without it turned on - the wheels are designed to only be turned by the batteries.1
slow as a turtleMarishikEats up batteries like crazy and is very slow to pull.2
My toddler loves this!Nadia123My son is completely in love with this train and takes it everywhere he goes - will have to buy a backup in case it breaks!5
Great addition to train setAJ 60I bought this for my grandson. Works as expected.5
Play-changerGrampieHave had to buy 2 of these because the first was so popular my grandson would not share it with friends. Now they can each play with one.5
