Hanging this mirror is a nightmareYasamanHanging this mirror is a challenge. There are no hooks on the top, the frame is too thin for command strips and the existing hooks on the sides are weirdly shaped and will only work with nails or screws. It is also very narrow. 2

Great piece of decorSoniaI bought 6 of these mirrors and hired the installation service from IKEA. They installed the mirror vertically one next to the other to create a bigger mirror. The result looks amazing because of its reflection has made the small room look bigger. The type of screw has to be thin, otherwise the mirrors would not stay close enough to each other. They cannot be cleaned with glass cleaner because it leaves stains.5

Good but...VincentThe mirror quality seems good but in unpacking it I noticed a corner was damaged. The box that it comes in has zero packaging. On closer inspection of the box, the corner of the box was damaged where the mirror was damaged so somewhere along the way the mirror was dropped. I had it delivered along with some other items. There is also no instructions on how best to mount it and there is no mounting hardware included, which is annoying.4

Light weight mirrorSandyI was looking for a light weight mirror I could attach to my armour without drilling holes into it - I was handle into use 3M hooks to hang this. Another reviewer said they were missing a corner attachment…this seems intentional - there are corner attachments on only 3 corners so you can hang it either vertically or horizontally.5

What is mirror glass?

Mirror glass comprises mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.
