Ratings and reviews

Good, but not greatDAVEIt works well and doesn't take up much space. Would be better if it had a utensil holder attached to it.3

Rusts after 1 year of useTerence C.I don't understand why Ikea chose to use galvanized steel for something like this? Why not stainless steel, or coat the entire thing in a water resistant material? It started rusting really badly after only just one year of use, and the rust is at the joints of where all the pieces intersect, making it incredibly difficult and tedious to try to remove the rust with vinegar soak and wire brush to renew the galvanized steel. Very disappointed in this product's quality.1

KVOTPATI wanted to replace my wooden dish rack purchased a number of years ago at IKEA but apparently they no longer carry it and have replaced it with this metal one. It's not anything like the wooden one I loved.3
Average Not suitable for biggerSumedhaAverage Not suitable for bigger utensils.. White plastic option of ikea is cheaper and has more room This more or less takes same space, looks nicer but doesn’t really solve the purpose.3

Love this dish rack. WashCATHYLove this dish rack. Wash the dishes more often than before when everything went into the dish washer. Dishes dry faster than on any other rack I have used. I would highly recommend this item and it is not an eye sore as well5
Packs a lot in it for a small footprint.JordanLooks great on the counter and is extremely functional. Can’t go wrong.5
Great affordable dish rack.So much fun playI needed a new dish rack since my old 33year IKEA wooden dish rack broke. Was disappointed that IKEA did not offer a wooden one. But as my daughter pointed out how do you expect them to make the same after 33years?...4

Material

What is steel?

Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
