Don’t buy itBehzad A.The dishes don’t stand on it properly.1
Stainless Steel DishrackElle-MaiIt's a great little dishrack for a single person or a couple. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars b/c it would great if the top rack folded so you could use just the base for larger items. A larger base that's double the size would be even better for larger items or more dishes.4
ExcellentAlexIs this rack is good for smaller places, but it is locking a tray underneath and a cutlery collection piece5
I finally replaced my originalEILEENI finally replaced my original purchase. This product works well for my needs. Great !5
Functional and attractiveGEORGEThe unit works well to organize the dishes we hand wash and provide space for them to dry5

Effective dish drainerCherry72It works very well on my small kitchen.5
Not a product to recommendAnnie6217I bought this but unfortunately it would not hold anything apart from plates and slide down , it is stainless steel but leaves marks from the water of dishes , I was unsatisfied and even took it back to ikea for return but was denied as I did not have a receipt my refund was not even considered co this product does not come with barcode onsite the product , a quality check on this product would help many customers considering this1
So far so goodjukiko94Yes it's large, there's no utensil holder or mat underneath, but for the price, I am satisfied. If you look on Amazon, 2-tier dish racks go for 50$+ and their reviews are not great. I put a plastic shoe mat underneath this and I use a holed utensil holder beside it. Compared to the other IKEA 2-tier dish rack, this guy won't rust. Plates hold well on the first level. The only con is bowls; they take up lots of space in this rack. But if you use mostly cups and plates, it's very handy.4
Not designed for utilitysimple08I bought this back in Jan. Having used it for a few months, I am quite disappointed with it. For its large footprint, it holds little dishware. Often, I had to bust out my old plastic dish rack or have my partner dry the dishes as I washed them. Further, there's no drainage tray and the only thing that worked from IKEA was the NYSKÖLJD dish drying mat - which does not work well. Like previous reviews, my IKEA plates don't stay put on it. Bowls don't fit. Little airflow for the bottom tray. The only nice thing I have to say is that aesthetically, it looks nice.1
dish drianersour001I bout this item 2 month ago but I am not very happy their is no try for it3
Not the best...mgoo777I bought this dish rack because it was eye-catching. Well, it isn't so much useful. I find it doesn't hold very many dishes, I wish it came with another (optional) level between the bottom and the top for shorter mugs or bowls. Bowls don't really stand upright in the top rack. This is good for plates and tall glasses only. I bought S-hooks to go around the side so I could hang my mugs, which works well, but it should be self-sufficient, no? and pretty expensive for what it is.2
regret purchasing - do not buysafsyeI bought this a week ago to replace a cheap plastic one that I had for years and within the first use I realized that it was poorly designed. It looks great and I like that it has saves space by being taller as opposed to wider but it barely holds anything except for glasses. At first glance, I didn't realize that it has no holder for utensils, which makes no sense! Also the I use the basic IKEA plates and bowls which do not stay in the slots. The price is steep considering it does not work well at all.1
Dish rackGearosI find bowls do not fit on this rack vertically.4
would be 5... BUT WHY NO DRAIN TRAYJac Vliterally CANNOT find an appropriately sized drain tray... saw a review from 2 years ago saying that the suggestion would be forwarded... BUT STILL NO DRAIN TRAY @ Ikea... and nothing appropriately sized anyway on the internet... so so so silly... shakes head4
Terrible designTorontoGuyI bought this dish drainer because my partner was complaining about our existing one and how dishes kept falling off the side of the rack. Well, this dish drainer had side guards which indicated it would prevent that issue. Not the case! Good luck getting your IKEA dishes to stay on this rack. I purchase the standard set of IKEA dishes and the plates barely fit and the bowls are impossible to keep upright. Absolutely terrible design! The only saving grace is that there is a place to put glasses. Think twice before you decide on this drainer.1
Disastrous Dish RackAnonymous reviewerMy IKEA brand plates never stayed in place, lost many to this dish rack.1
Holds a lot!RebeccaKI entertain a lot, therefore my dishwasher gets filled fast. This dish rack holds SO much! For me, this is great for larger kitchen items, especially those that cannot be put in the dishwasher. Now my dishes finally don’t have to be piled on top of each other on the counter while drying! Overall it was a great purchase!! It is larger than most drying racks of course, but I think it will save you more time and space because of how much it can hold!5
Space saverchachoiI like how this rack save me some space.5
Just one problemAncillafidelisDespite having a dishwasher I never have enough space on my dish rack, since I'm an air-dry kind of girl. So when I saw this product I jumped to get it. This holds a lot but doesn't take up much counter space. However, there's just one problem: I can't find a drain board big enough for it. Right now I'm using an old towel. When I asked an IKEA co-worker she told me to just use a tray, but it's not designed for draining. Oh, I'm familiar with using a tray as a drainboard. I do so with my other drying rack. But of course the water pools in it, so I'm constantly cleaning the darn thing with vinegar. What IKEA needs to do is make a drain board that fits it with a 12 spout on the 20 side. If they did that I'd give this product 5 stars and get a second one in a heartbeat.3

Material

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
