They don't last 2 daysDesireeI bought two of these lights along with the recommended AA rechargeable batteries, but they only last about two days before needing to be recharged.
I’ve tried charging the batteries directly through the light using a USB-C cable, as well as using my own fully charged rechargeable batteries, and the result is always the same—they die after about two days.
We have the lights set to Auto so they’re only activated by the motion sensor, but if this is the expected battery life, I’ll be returning them. It’s really disappointing because they’re incredibly practical when they work.

Instead of the 1.2W IKEA rechargeable batteries, I bought 1.4W rechargeable batteries and I have no issues with the batteries running out. I have been using the lights in the hallway wardrobe and walk-in wardrobe with no issues. Easy installation. Great value for money.
LightingJaneBright light works great in closets and on ceiling above stairway where we don't have enough lighting. it was also a great solution to a hallway where the light switch was several feet from the start of the hall.

Poor battery lifeRussI purchased 5 of these for a closet. I spend more in one month on batteries than the entire purchase. I will no longer use these, too costly for the batteries. I use high quality batteries and am lucky to get 1-2 weeks use. The closet door is opened 2-3 times a day, for 30 seconds. I would have liked to know the inefficiency of this product before buying.
Sensor has lost sensitivity after move.WarrenGot these, installed and loved them. Really nice, warm bright light. Last long enough, easy to recharge and they charge fast. I moved apartments and put them up again, but now find that I have to brush my hand over them, almost physically touching them each time to get the light to come on. Which is surprising compared to how when I first put them up, they sometimes were so sensitive they'd come on when you'd walk by the wardrobe and they sensed you through the tiny space between the doors. Now, you have to remind them you're there, physically triggering them. Which isn't the worst thing, 'cause the light is still really great, but surprising. I have given them a month, thinking they had to recalibrate, but no, they're still not as responsive as when new.
Doesn’t workJenniferThese lights worked for me for about 3 days then went dead. I changed the batteries to the required ikea ones and one light worked for about a week then died and the other would turn on and not turn off. The sensor will not work. I’m very disappointed and regret screwing these into my new closet. If I can’t get them working I have big holes in my closet. Do not buy these.
Doesn't come with the hardware for you to stick onCecil IsaacDoes not come with the hardware so you can install you light bar wherever you want it. Even on the description on the item doesn't tell you but on the manual says you need this circular hardware so you can stick them up wherever you want. Not recommended, its already skeptical buying separately the batteries and so the hardware too? Ridiculous.
Stops workingMichaelEven with a freshly charged set of batteries 2 of the 12" light bars don't turn on after lighting up initially. They were working fine before and the 3rd 12" light still functions normally. Strange thing is when I take out the batteries and then put them back into the light it turns on, but then won't do it again automatically. The 2 larger 20" lights work without any issues. Very disappointing.

Battery draining too fastSarahWas happy initially with the light, even bought more of them as it was very convenient for a pantry. But the batteries barely last a few days in auto mode and we don't open the doors that many times in a day. It makes the product basically useless because I don't feel like changing the batteries or recharging the lights all the time

Pointless product LiamThe light lasts about a week. Unless you want to be charging it constantly, look elsewhere. Not sure how this passed as a viable product.
