Best bed my son has ever had!JenniferMy kid is hard on furniture! This bed has put up with what ever he throws at it! The height is good, not too high not too low, still leaves room under for small storage totes. Love that the headboard covering is washable! Took about an hour to put together as we put a piece or two on backwards… but other then that it was easy to put together. My daughter now wants this bed as well, we will be purchasing this bed again!5
Beau teal and nice lookingJackelineNeutral colour allows to combine it with any decor. Easy to set up and light to move around. Well priced.4
Inexpensive solid bedCynthiaWe’ve had this bed for a while and we find it to be a decent solid bed. We didn’t buy an IKEA mattress for it because I don’t find any of them very comfortable. So we’re using a different mattress and we have no problem with the bed squeaking or the slats moving like some people say. It does the job of being a bed well. Aesthetically, IKEA could do better. 5
Not durableTrevorThe legs in the middle of the bed don't hold up. The one bent and dug into my floor. I eventually got the screw that broke clean off replaced, but it didn't take long to have the same problems. I have to put things underneath to protect my floor from more damage.2
sturdy and comfortable bedAkmaralI bought a bed for my son, it's sturdy and comfortable, he likes it5
I love it!HayleyEasy to assemble, I love that the slats are well secured by clips to avoid them moving around. Neutral cover is easy to remove for washing. Looks more expensive than it is!5
Unironically depressing looking and guaranteed to make your bedroom look like a dorm.ElleThe version displayed in the showroom was the old model of this frame: the one with the simple, tasteful metal crossbar headboard, where the fabric slipcover was presented as an optional accessory. What I actually got was the new “updated” model, a downgrade in every possible way.
Instead of a clean metal headboard, IKEA now forces on you a strange, tacky curtain in “smoker’s yellow” and a slipcover to presumably hide the unsightliness of it. Imagine dollarstore craft felt glued to a wall, that’s a pretty accurate picture of what’s permanently attached to the frame. And no, there’s no way to remove it without tools, frustration and leaving a gaping hole.
The materials are just as disappointing. The old model had a smooth, glossy finish that at least felt like real metal. The new version has a weird, chunky matte coating that looks and feels cheap, as if they ran out of budget and decided “good enough.” In no way is this frame “chic” or “modern”, it belongs in a youth hostel.1
Bed fell apartJessThis bed looked very sturdy and has an interesting headboard.
Unfortunately after a few years the slats fall in nightly and you will have to lift the mattress to correct the slat. After a year of this happening constantly the middle beam is bent. I contacted IKEA to inquire about a replacement bar for the bed and was told that if I wanted one I would have to wait until a customer returns this item?? I don’t understand.
I have an unusable bed and my mattress is now on the floor. Sadly this was not a sturdy bed as I had first thought.1
Great product UdayaEasy to assemble 5
Excellent bed for the price OksanaEasy to assemble, extremely lightweight, no noise. A bit dorm-roomy, but if you pair it with modern room decor, you can make it look minimalist and airy instead.5
Nice bed for a uni child LornaNice low to the ground 5
Great bed frameNatashaNot only was this relatively easy to assemble for one person, it’s a great bed frame. It’s reasonably priced, looks great, and I personally love it. 5

Exceeded expectations LarryGreat value, easy to install 5
Simple basic design but needs 2 people for assembly ChristineGreat bed frame at the price point. Simple design.
Only issue is two people were needed to put together.4
Horrible bed! LenaThe slats do not stay in place, and fall down every night. This is me sleeping on it as single person who rarely moved...imagine if I got a partner and had more 'active' nights. Avoid.....horrid1
Wonderful HannahWorks great. Super strong and sturdy. Incredibly easy to put together.
Only thing is my box spring keeps sliding off so maybe get a grip sheet to put under3
Good with one flawZhenyuThe legs are quite slippy. I have to purchase some anti-slip furniture leg protectors to stop its moving.4
Good for guest bedroomTiffanyWe needed a bed for our guest bedroom and this frame is perfect. Easy to assemble. Sturdy. Fit in a minimalist bedroom. 5
Support is terribleAnonymous reviewerThe two bolts holder the two tiny support sticks snapped in half after a year and a half. One snapped off in the support making it useless. Without the supports the bed caves in.
Dont get an ikea bed that doesn't have the large metal support beam. 2
