Bed fell apartJessThis bed looked very sturdy and has an interesting headboard.
Unfortunately after a few years the slats fall in nightly and you will have to lift the mattress to correct the slat. After a year of this happening constantly the middle beam is bent. I contacted IKEA to inquire about a replacement bar for the bed and was told that if I wanted one I would have to wait until a customer returns this item?? I don’t understand.
I have an unusable bed and my mattress is now on the floor. Sadly this was not a sturdy bed as I had first thought.1

Horrible bed! LenaThe slats do not stay in place, and fall down every night. This is me sleeping on it as single person who rarely moved...imagine if I got a partner and had more 'active' nights. Avoid.....horrid1

Support is terribleAnonymous reviewerThe two bolts holder the two tiny support sticks snapped in half after a year and a half. One snapped off in the support making it useless. Without the supports the bed caves in.
Dont get an ikea bed that doesn't have the large metal support beam. 2

Instruction and fabrication did not matchMichaelPut bed together and realized instructions and actual product did not match. For back lower panel had to drill my own holes to work as the ones provided were on the wrong side. The cover for the back panel slightly too small cannot close zipper.2
