Don’t buy thisMelissaWe bought this bed in the King size back in 2022. Within the first year the leg broke off one side. We took the legs off the bed and put it on the floor for a bit as we didn’t have time or fix it. When we went back to fix the legs we realized the WHOLE bed frame is cracked, straight through the wood. So now the bed lives on the floor… it’s horrible. And it squeaks so badly. I put fabric between the slates and around the edges and that helped but like come on - worst bed ever. I wish I could just bring it back.
Looks good but so creakyCharlesAssembly was straightforward. Bed is solid and looks good. But it is so creaky, getting in and out of this bed makes so much noise! Even just changing positions in the bed. Disappointing.
Worst squeaky bed ever SanjanaI purchased this bed 4 years ago and within one month of purchase the bed started squeaking and now the head of the bed is broken recently. It is not durable or long lasting. Would not recommend this bed, too pricey for its poor quality.
Gorgeous LoganThe assembly took me roughly around an hour and a half on my own, I would definitely recommend it as it gives the nice upholstered look while being a somewhat affordable price. Don't get it. If you have cats though, they will tear it up
Great value for priceAnonymous reviewerI’ve had this bed for 3 years and I’m buying a second one in a bigger size. It’s very sturdy and looks just as good as any bed at a higher price point. Only thing is the assembly is difficult and it is hard to get the fabric stretched properly.
Great bed!NicoleThis was a great value. The bed looks really nice in the room. It does take time to assemble, and we did pretty good with one exception: you can set the bed up to accommodate different mattress sizes. We put the bracket in the upper position, which makes the bed very high off the ground because the mattress is very thick. It would be helpful if the instructions were a little more clear, i.e. add ‘thick mattress’ and ‘standard thickness mattress’ - or something like that.
Legs Not Sturdy EnoughChristalI've had this bed for just over a year, and last weekend we heard a loud crack..turns out it was the bolt snapping off in the right leg at the end of the bed. Found that out the hard way today when I went to shift the bed a little and the leg fell right off. Previously had to tighten all the legs about six months ago and they were all very, very loose. Not impressed for what I paid for this thing.
Very unstableTheodoraWe got this in a king size and it wobbles a lot. Every movement (tossing/turning) in bed is intensified. We thought it was our mattress for a while and then noticed the bed shaking when changing the sheets one time. Very disappointed and can no longer return it per the new return policy... we are losing sleep every night and now have to find a replacement while being out of the cost of this frame... huge waste of money.

Very WobblyAmandaI've had this bed for about a year and a half now and I cannot figure out how to make it less wobbly. The legs can't seem to be tightened. I'm really afraid that it will completely break when I roll over in the night. For over $700, I'm really sad that it didn't last me longer.
Looks nice but very weak designRomanThe legs are the weakest point, only two years old and the legs look like they will break off any day, the whole bed is very wobbly now. For the price of the bed it is quite dissapointing, we have lots of Ikea furniture and this one is by far the worst design from the quality point if view.

As with other reviewers, the screw on two of the legs is wearing away already. Two of the legs are becoming wobbly which is very disappointing that it hasn't even lasted more than 2 years considering the price. I saw Ikea responded to another reviewers to bring the bed in for an exchange or refund with your original receipt. I did not keep my original receipt and it is extremely heavy to take a King size bed frame back to the store!
Legs unstable after one year!MagindaHad this for a year and two of the legs have become completely weak and not sturdy. The bed now moves with even the slightest pressure and it seems like only a matter of time before the legs break. Ikea also doesn't sell the screws that hold up the legs or the legs themselves to fix this issue. The screw is completed stripped down. Completely disappointing given the price and how long I have had it.

What is polyester?
Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles.
