Poor instructionsVirenderThe drawer assembly instructions are extremely poor. We spent HOURS trying to figure out how the storage drawers were supposed to be installed because the diagrams do not clearly show the correct orientation, alignment or sequence. Once figured out, it is actually quite simple — which makes the lack of clear instructions even more frustrating. IKEA really needs to revise the instruction booklet for this TONSTAD bed and add clearer diagrams or an assembly video.

Took me 3 monthsAnitaI like it's firmness, but it took me 3 months to get used to it. Does not bounce at all which bothers me a bit. The cover is washable, did not shrink. I like that the mattress has "handles" , so it's easy to move around. I will look for something else next time. Okay,but not great.
Very goodLindaWe had our old mattress from IKEA and it was really hard and was perfect for my back pain, this mattress is not as hard as old one but still hard, so if you looking for soft mattress, this is not the one. We like it and the quality is good and affordable, would definitely recommend it.
Didn't last 9 monthsJoeMy last 2 mattresses were from Ikea, all great. Went with this one, Firm, as the previous ones. Started out on the high scale of firm but, after a month it settled in and felt great. That lasted only 3 months until I started waking up with back pain. There was a light soreness each day and I couldn't pin down how I was getting it. I rotated the mattress weekly and still no relieve. I slept on a different mattress for the 3 nights, no pain, returned to this Akrehamn and immediately the next morning, pain again. It's definitely the mattress which I'll end up throwing out after only 9 months
