Bed fell apart after three daysEricaThis is a good-looking and comfortable piece of furniture that gets full marks for aesthetics. However, the bed fell apart three days after I assembled it! Judging by some of the reviews that I have read for this product (squeaky, wobbly, unsteady), other customers are having experiences similar to mine. The collapse of the bed was due to the complete failure of the connectors between the side frame and headboard. The connection appeared to be secure during assembly, but one of the threaded collars subsequently pulled out of the headboard, probably because the other connector on that side of the bed had not engaged, and the side frame collapsed. The remedy here is to take great care during assembly to ensure that all connectors have engaged properly. The instructions suggest using two people at this stage of assembly, and I suggest using three, to ensure that everything is properly square and aligned. I would recommend this product, but with this one reservation noted above.

Wobbliest bed ever.RohiWe are a huge fan of Ikea furniture. Most of our house furniture is Ikea and i like their engineering of all the items, except for their Idanas king bed. Its the most unsteady and the wobbliest bed i have ever slept on. Its very shaky and not made for 2 people because if one person moves the movement is transferred to the bed thus making it impossible for the other person to be able to sleep peacefully

Great FrameAnonymous reviewerWe have had this frame for several years now. We put an Endy mattress on top and have no issues. The bed looks great, and after 5+ years, still doesn't creak or make much noise at all. We are switching to a king sized bed and will be buying this frame again!
Very SqueakyLesleyBought in 2023. Easy to assemble and looks good but is extremely noisy. Rolling over or sitting/ standing makes the bed creak loud enough to wake a light sleeper and kids/ babies. Wakes my daughter in her bassinet even with noise machines on. Would not buy again.

Not Satisfied, the legs started to come apartJassim I purchased this bed in Oct 2021. The footboard has the 2 legs attached to it, and both legs have started to come apart in just over 2 years. I took t this up customer service and they said I'll need to put a new foot board.

DisapointedSanaWe moved into new place and was so exited to have this bed 4 months ago, We love the look and we tried to see if the bed is noisy in the showroom at Ikea Coquitlam store and everything was great as we realized it will not be noisy. However, after we asembled the bed and put the matress on it, because of poor and weak bed bottom it makes to much noise that we are not able to sleep properly. I love this bed's look but so disapointed how it turns out to be super noisy and uncomfortable when we move. I am a big fan of Ikea products, I wish someone from there call me and advise me what is the solution for this problem!
Nice BedAnonymous reviewerNice bed but had to return it as this bed frame will not fit a normal size full or double size mattress. The bed frames seem to be just a tad small for most mattresses. Ikea needs to make some changes and adjust their bed sizes so they can fit any standard size mattress, no matter where the mattress is purchased. The way it is now you can only purchase an IKEA mattress for an IKEA bed. That really puts limitations on who can purchase your beds. All I can say again is check the size of your mattress first, even some new IKEA mattresses may not fit this or other IKEA bed frames.
