Not blackoutLexyBlinds filter light, however they are nowhere close to being blackout. My room still had a decent amount of light in it with both blinds closed and it being overcast outside. They wouldn't hold up well on a sunny day.1
Doesn't Work with all Window typesShelleyIt might be an excellent option for some windows, but it doesn't work for sliders. This curtain runs on side rails that attach to the window frame, not the casing. So, if your window isn't completely flat, it won't work.3
So frustrating StephanieI like that these blinds are inexpensive but that's the only reason I could think of for justifying giving them 1 star. I should have paid heed to all the reviews saying how incredibly frustrating these are! Not at all worth the low price. I'll be spending the money to get proper blinds for my other windows and I'm glad I didn't buy them all at once! I don't even know what they look like up because I'm too annoyed to keep going. 1
False Blackout Blinds?Anonymous reviewerI purchased and installed Hornvallmo blinds in hopes of blocking out lights coming through from a skylight that has been bothering my sleep. However, after opening up the product from its packaging, I noticed that the material did not have any paint or coating, which would block light going through the blinds. Despite my suspicions, I installed the blinds anyway and was disappointed by how they did little to nothing to block out light. It was as if I had just installed a sheet of translucent paper on my skylight. Perhaps I received a package that had a faulty blind?1
