Very loudRamonaI read great reviews on this but find that it acrually runs very loud. On the lowest setting,it sounds like a clogged downspout dripping, when it should be quiet. Disappointed since I bought it for my bedroom.2
Worth It!PatriciaMy son introduced this into my life as he uses one at work, and I was quickly sold. We now have one each in our bedrooms. They are mountable or come with their own stand. They are very efficient at pulling particulate from the air, are light weight yet stable, and have three fan speed settings. They have a pleasant sound at the highest setting, and are very quiet at the lower settings. As they are light weight, I can easily move it to another room. The filters are very easy to inspection, remove, and install. The unit is easy to keep clean too, with a quick dust or wipe. Regardless of opening my windows every day, this purifier has made a big difference in my sleep. My apartment is next to the laundry room, and I also fold all of my laundry in my bedroom, add to that an occasional aerosol product and I would cough at night pretty regularly. I now turn on my purifier for a small amount of time, and I really notice the difference, Wow! Also there is less dust on the surfaces.5

My only concern is that although I assume the filter is a hepa filter, there is nothing written on the package or enclosed literature that states it is, in fact, a hepa filter.
