These USED to be my favourite candles.ReghanThese are my go-to unscented candles, but the most recent package was a disappointment. Instead of solid wax, the candles are now loose grains of wax pressed into a thin shell. They seem to burn faster than they used to, are more prone to tunnelling (the grains of wax melt away, leaving the cheap-looking shell behind), and the wick now seems to end (or break, I couldn’t tell) about an inch and a half above the bottom of the candle.
I used to buy at least two of these sets every year, but unless this is just one bad batch, the frustration isn’t worth the savings.
