How to get it

A durable dining table that makes it easy to have big dinners. A single person can extend the table and there’s plenty of room for chairs since the legs are always located at the corners of the table.

Product details

The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table from 6 to 8 and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.

The smart design means that the table top has no seams when you use the table without extending it.

Designed for a perfect match with EKEDALEN chairs. LIDÅS, KRYLBO and BERGMUND chairs are also good matches with different style expressions.

The table legs are always in the corners of the table top even when the table is extended, so there is plenty of room for chairs under the table.

This table has been tested against our strictest standards for stability, durability and safety to withstand everyday use in your home for years.

Ekedalen after 4 yearsRobertWe have had this table for approx 4 years. Like lots about it, but highly disappointed to report that the coating is peeling off on the legs - very visible. We also bought the cushioned matching chairs, a couple have broken. Disappointed. 2

We are not thrilled with the wait time that came with it before it was in stock or that we finally had to order it and pay $140 to have it delivered because it was the only way to get it. We redid an entire dining room and den with IKEA and are happy with everything but have been waiting months for the 78” Lagkapten desk top (Black-brown) to come in - very frustrated!5

“For me, the dining area is the given centre of the home. My idea with EKEDALEN series was to make a dining set for everything from large dinners to doing homework and crafts. The table is easy to extend, and since the legs follow the table when it’s extended, guests won’t have table legs in the way. The chairs are comfortable and the covers are machine-washable. Flexible and functional for modern homes."
