Quality has gotten way worse ArchiI had bought these both early last year and recently, and I must say that the quality has decreased significantly. The change in quality is so obvious that you can see wrinkles in the new ones (white version). The tag is now located outside and its hands to remove which makes the appearance look bad. The box also feels more fragile and thin. I won’t continue to purchase these until the old better quality returns.3

Doran BoxesSueLove these boxes. Bottom zips together and the attached matching piece folds into place for added support covering the inside bottom. Only concern is I really dislike that the tags are sewn into the exposed outer seam of the bottom at one side. Trimming that off very close to the seam is ok but not nice for my OCD & you take a chance of cutting the seam ugh! Suggest tags be attached to a seam on the bottom inside support piece so that it could be tucked between the support & bottom without having to trim off and safely hide on the inside of the box out of sight.5

Material

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
