The pocket springs move independently and provide support exactly where you need it.

The daybed must be combined with two twin mattresses. They are placed on top of each other when you use the daybed as a single bed, and next to each other when you use it as a double bed.
The day-bed is not to be used as two single beds, it should only be used as a double bed when the bed base is pulled out.

HeavyMattPros: 2 large underbed storage drawers, space efficient, slides out into a large king-size bed, good for guests. Cons: Extremely heavy and over complicated to assemble. It will be a huge task to dismantle and move. If you know you will be in your current home or apartment for a long time, this is a decent option. It works well and is a space-efficient option for a guest bed. However, assume that you will never be able to easily move this item once assembled. This bed is basically a large block of glue holding together a bunch of sawdust. I am worried that the particle board will flake and fall apart if I attempt to dismantle and move the bed. In hindsight, I would have gone with a lighter and simpler option (e.g. the stackable beds or a standard futon style bed).3
